These Terms govern your use of Econowe. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read the subscription and disclaimer sections carefully — they cover how billing works and what Econowe is (and isn't).
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Sergio Fernández, the individual developer who operates Econowe ("we", "us"). By registering an account or otherwise using the app, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use Econowe.
Econowe is a learning platform for economics and finance, built around a Learning Graph and Learning Paths curated by human experts — the curriculum itself is never generated or decided by AI. AI is only used to explain, adapt, and generate supporting exercises, narration or video, always reviewed by a human before it reaches you. Econowe is an educational product, not a course marketplace or a video-streaming app.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an Econowe account. If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app and, where relevant, to make in-app purchases.
Econowe offers an optional "Econowe Pro" subscription (billed monthly) that removes the daily Lesson limit and unlocks other premium features. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing or Apple's In-App Purchase system — we never see or store your payment card details.
We may change subscription pricing going forward; any change will be shown before it applies to your next renewal, consistent with the app store's own billing rules.
Under EU consumer protection law, you would normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. Because a subscription gives you immediate access to digital content, by subscribing you expressly request that performance begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose this right of withdrawal once you've started using the subscription benefits, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Econowe may offer you the option to watch a short ad, served by Google AdMob, in exchange for an in-app benefit (like skipping a Lesson cooldown). Watching an ad is always your choice, never required to use the core app. We don't control or endorse the content of individual ads shown by AdMob.
You agree not to:
The app, its Learning Graph, Learning Paths, lessons, illustrations, and code are owned by us or our licensors. Your subscription or account gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use that content for your own learning — not a right to copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from it.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms. You can stop using Econowe, or delete your account entirely, whenever you like — see Section 4.
Econowe is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate, available, and bug-free, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that the app will always be error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited (for example, liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you're a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of your own country of residence, and nothing here removes those. Any dispute not resolved directly will be submitted to the competent Spanish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory venue rules that apply to you as a consumer.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app before it takes effect.
